ARTful+ was born from the union of two worlds: early childhood education and strategic project management. We set out to answer one simple but powerful question:

Our Inspiration
Today, many children grow up surrounded by screens and fast-paced stimulation.
While entertainment options are abundant, they don’t always support holistic development, creativity, or critical thinking.
As mothers, educators, and professionals, we felt the need to create:
• Real alternatives to screen time
• Educational experiences that can be enjoyed at home
• Activities that naturally connect play with learning
We wanted to create something that was:

Meet the Heart of ArtFul+
Blancanela Miles
I’ve spent more than twenty years teaching children around the world—Venezuela, Panama, Belgium, France, and now Austin, Texas, where I’ve lived since 2017. Every place has taught me something beautiful about how children learn: they grow best when they are curious, supported, and having fun.
That belief inspired me to create hands-on STEAM projects that kids can explore at home or at school, while parents feel included and connected to their child’s learning journey.
I design each activity with love, creativity, and intention—so every child can feel confident, independent, and excited to learn.
Together, let’s make learning an adventure.
Claudia Villarroel
My journey into the world of science began long before I became a chemical engineer. I’ve always been fascinated by the “why” behind everything—from how materials react to why the world works the way it does. Over the years, I paired that curiosity with strong project management experience, learning how to organize ideas, people, and processes with clarity and intention.
When I joined ArtFul+, I saw the perfect opportunity to blend both worlds: science and thoughtful design. Today, I create hands-on experiences that invite children to explore, wonder, and experiment, while giving families moments they will remember.
For me, science is not just formulas or experiments—it’s a way of thinking, discovering, and building confidence. And my goal is to share that spark with every child who joins us.
